IT Specialist

$110,000 – $130,000

Our client, a well-established Biotech company who has been in the Bay Area for 20+ years, is seeking an IT Specialist for DIRECT HIRE. In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional desktop support, IT infrastructure, and related management support needed to ensure uninterrupted and efficient business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Support equipment provisioning for Windows, iOS, and Android-based hardware including desk and/or cell phones, tablets, and laptops.
• Manage Zoom / Teams conferencing systems.
• Maintain accounts for local and hosted applications.
• Work with Cisco switches, ASA firewall, and wireless equipment.
• Maintain scanners, printers, and copy machines.
• Evaluate current and/or new systems.
• Coordinate hardware upgrades.
• Manage the elimination of old equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 3 years of directly related work experience
• Advanced knowledge of Windows and Mac clients, and iOS devices
• Biotech industry knowledge is a plus!
