Grants Analyst

Option 1 Staffing is currently recruiting for a Grants Analyst for a TOP University in Palo Alto, CA. To be successful in this role, candidates must be resourceful, detail-oriented, and have the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects. Responsibilities:

• Prepare complex proposals within the parameters of sponsored and non-sponsored research guidelines.
• Manage the proposal preparation and post-award activities for a large volume and diverse set of complex federal and non-federal sponsored research projects.
• Collaborate with additional departments to ensure awards are set up properly and cost-sharing requirements are fulfilled, and initiate cost transfers.
• Draft, revise, and finalize project budgets, and provide budget justification.
• Develop and communicate reports supporting project status.
• Manage contract closeout process and audit inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of directly related experience
• Experience with Oracle is highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree
• Excellent oral, written, and communication skills
