Events Coordinator

Contract to Hire

Palo Alto, CA – Hybrid

$30 – $40/hour

Option 1 Staffing is actively recruiting for an Events Coordinator with one of the most highly sought-after Bay Area employers. Candidates will consult with stakeholders and plan logistics, including registration, attendee tracking, and materials support. Responsibilities:

• Serve as a member of the events team, and contribute to an array of functional areas including decisions around budget allocation, event logistics, and facilities
• Assist in planning events such as large-scale events, meetings, luncheons, conferences, etc.
• Prepare event timelines
• Maintain event metrics
• Maintain relationships with vendors
• Consult with stakeholders to determine objectives and requirements
• Send out invites and managed RSVPs
• Schedule participants with hotels/rental cars if needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year experience with Event Planning/Coordinating
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required)
• Comfortable using Office 365
• Problem-solving skills, taking the initiative, and decision-making skills
• A positive and can-do attitude
