$150,000 – $180,000

One of our TOP clients, an established employer who has been in the Bay Area for over 50 years, is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing 3rd-party tax consultants as well as supervising, and mentoring Tax Accountants.  This role is crucial in contributing to the success and growth of the company.  If this role piques your interest apply now and we’ll dive into the details with you.

Responsibilities:

• Develop strong working relationships with non-tax counterparts in Operations, Project Accounting, and Purchasing.
• Oversee preparation of monthly sales and use tax returns, corporate tax returns (Federal and State) as well as the preparation of the annual tax provision.
• Review existing tax compliance processes and together with the Director of Tax, develop recommendations to efficiently manage compliance.
• Manage 3rd-party tax consultants.
• Manage audits and obtain successful outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience
• CPA Certified is a plus!
