Project Manager – Hospital Experience

6-month contract

Hybrid – Palo Alto, CA

$75- $90/hour

Our client, a TOP 10 hospital in the nation, is currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager. As the Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing leadership and direction in building client engagement, project development, strategic decision-making, project scope, and deliverables. Responsibilities:

• Manage project design and structure for the department’s key projects.
• Directs and manages project managers, and project/senior project coordinators in the design, development, and execution of projects.
• Maintain effective relationships with project owners, operational leaders, IT, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Define project scope, duration, resources, and cost.
• Conduct project kick-off meetings to communicate individual roles and project expectations.
• Prepare and manage project reports and budgets.
• Communicate on a timely basis, ensuring participants are informed of project status, issues, and risks.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of directly related work experience
• Hospital experience required
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience using Lean Six Sigma preferred
• Understanding of project management practices and principles
• Flexible and adaptable personality
• ERP knowledge a plus
