Customer Service Representative

6-month contract

Redwood City, CA – Hybrid

$22 – $23/hour

Option 1 is currently looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Customer Service Rep for a highly sought-after Bay Area employer. In this role, the Customer Service Representative will be interacting with faculty, staff, students, departments, vendors, and visitors daily, providing customer service via email and phone regarding all transportation products and services. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, be a problem solver, and be patient.

Responsibilities:

• Answers a high volume of calls.
• Corresponds with customers via email.
• Reconciles virtual cash drawer and daily sales log, balancing credit cards, etc., for daily sales.
• Processes registrations for students and the community entering data into the database.
• Enters data into the POS system.
• Responds to requests for special arrangements and update the event calendar and customers on their request.
• Attends and participates in meetings that may include overseeing a project, and offers ideas and suggestions to improve programs and customer service.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years customer service experience
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Quick learner and tech-savvy
