Option 1 is actively seeking a passionate and driven Events Planner for DIRECT HIRE!

As the Event Planner, you will be responsible for leading high-quality events, managing complex budgets, vendor negotiation, and training junior staff. The ideal candidate should have professional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage complex workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the project leader on various special events.
• Create work plans and schedules, monitor progress, and meet milestones.
• Create new and maintain established relationships with stakeholders, vendors, faculty, etc.
• Vendor negotiation.
• Research and present potential event locations.
• Prepare and manage complex event budgets.
• Oversee registration logistics.
• Train and supervise junior event planners in the implementation of events.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of event coordinating experience
• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• The ability to manage complex timelines and multiple projects
• Exceptional customer service skills
• AI (Artificial Intelligence) industry knowledge is a plus!
