Patient Benefits Coordinator

Contract to Hire

San Jose, CA- On-site

$25 – $27/hour

Our client is a well-known healthcare organization in the Bay Area looking for a Patient Benefits Coordinator to join their growing team. This employer is looking to bring on a proactive, adaptable, and reliable individual looking to enhance their healthcare career. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of healthcare experience with 1+ years of experience working with benefits.

This is a great opportunity to maximize your strengths with excellent hands-on training!

Responsibilities:

  • EOBs (explanation of benefits)
  • Answers busy, multi-line phone system, providing top-notch customer service
  • Registering and checking out patients
  • Insurance verification
  • Real-Time Eligability
  • Enter accurate information in the system.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with benefits
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience using EPIC is a plus!
