Accounts Payable Specialist

3-month Contract with possible extension

San Jose, CA – On-site

$25 – $28/hour

Option 1 Staffing is actively recruiting for an Accounts Payable Specialist with one of our largest clients in San Jose, CA. To be successful in this role candidates must be comfortable utilizing Microsoft Dynamics, with a can-do attitude and a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities:

• Receive and distribute incoming accounts payable invoices as well as related documents for approval.
• Maintain vendor records and information in the accounts payable system.
• Respond to vendor inquiries promptly and resolve payment or invoice issues in an efficient and timely manner.
• Posting payments received and maintaining an organized database of financial information.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of recent AP experience
• Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Dynamics is required
• Experience using Adaptive is a plus!
