Option 1 Staffing is actively recruiting for a Post–Award Financial Analyst with a TOP Bay Area employer. In this crucial role, your main focus will be on awards, contracts, and subcontract management. To be successful candidates must have strong analytical skills, be professional and polished.

Candidates must have post-award experience to be considered for this role!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and communicate submission process, both paper and electronic; review documents for completeness and compliance.
• Participate with principal investigator in the preparation of the administrative components of proposals within parameters of sponsored and non-sponsored research guidelines.
• Develop, prepare, and finalize project budgets, and provide budget justification.
• Review and approve expenditures, advise on post-award spending and commitment activity, and oversee compliance related to funds and revenue.
• Develop and communicate reports supporting project status; create effective forecasting and decision aides.
• Participate in contract closeout process; submit final reports and certificates.
• Compile information and documents needed for audit inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience working with post-awards
• Bachelor’s degree
• Excellent oral, written, and communication skills
