Financial Specialist/Charge Coordinator 

6-month+ contract

On-site – Redwood City, CA

$26 – $28/hour

Our client, a highly sought-after Bay Area employer is seeking a Financial Specialist/Charge Coordinator.   To be successful in this role, candidates must be knowledge and professional as you will be collaborating with the Financial Managers, Patient Financial Services, and Physician Service Offices across the organization.

Our client has an urgent need to fill this role!  

Responsibilities:

• Works in close collaboration with the Financial Manager, Patient Financial Services, and Physician Service Office.
• Review and submit charges that have been received for pre and post-transplant recipient/donor services.
• Submit charges via Epic for the non-Medicare pre-transplant charges and Medicare pre-transplant charges in addition to all donor-related charges pre and post donation (based on follow up period).
• Review daily charges and releases charges for billing and MCR.
• Contribute consistently to the development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental operations improvement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of directly related work experience
• Bachelors degree
• Experience with EPIC is highly preferred
