Sacramento, CA – Hybrid

$70,000 – $90,000

Option 1 is currently looking for Accountants for one of our TOP healthcare clients in Sacramento, CA. Responsibilities include planning, developing, and coordinating complex financial analysis in a highly independent manner and utilizing comprehensive knowledge of general ledger and budgetary systems, accounting, and healthcare financial practices.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares financial analyses and reports including variance analysis reports and statistical reports.
• Provides analytical support to improve finance processes.
• Acts as a general accounting liaison to various departments on an assortment of moderately to highly complex projects, including system implementations, process designs, redesigns, and financial system training.
• Prepares recommendations and financial models to assist the organization in improving Medical Center general accounting recording and reporting.
• Monthly closing journal entries and reconciliations, internal and external audit support, and cross-training.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 5 years of Accounting experience.
• Excellent Excel skills, including formatting, Vlookups, IFs, Sumifs, and Pivot Tables.
• Demonstrated professional level of analytical, statistical, and mathematical skills to conduct complex financial analyses.
• Experience summarizing, analyzing, and accurately reporting on large volumes of data using multiple systems in a timely manner.
