Customer Service Rep – Healthcare  

3-month contract, possible extension 

On-site – Palo Alto, CA

$28/hour

Our client, a TOP 10 hospital in the nation, is currently seeking a friendly and reliable Customer Service Rep.  If you have exposure to healthcare or are looking to get your foot in the door, this is an excellent opportunity to BOOST your healthcare career with a nationally recognized organization.

MULTIPLE SHIFTS & MAY INCLUDE WEEKEND WORK 

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients, their families, and visitors entering the hospital and clinics
• Provide clear and concise verbal and written instructions
• Offer assistance in locating services, facilities, or patients
• Confirms time and place of patient appointments, provides directions, and/or escorts guests to their eventual destination, as needed
• Respond immediately and appropriately to injured persons, agitated/escalating individuals/situations in the hospital entrance environment, contacting healthcare providers and/or security as needed
• Serves as the primary point of contact for patients throughout the service experience

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Healthcare exposure is a plus, but not required
• HS Diploma
• Comfortable with Office 365 Skills
• Good communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
