One form of employment fraud involves individuals posing as recruiters who promise to hire you for positions that do not actually exist. These fraudsters exploit the allure of a nonexistent job to solicit money or sensitive information from unsuspecting candidates. Unfortunately, such job scams and phishing schemes within the recruitment industry are on the rise, and we have become aware that scammers are unlawfully using the name and logo of Option 1 Staffing as part of their deceptive tactics.
We want to inform our community that some individuals have reported receiving communications from people claiming to be employees of Option 1 Staffing via What’s App, offering potential job opportunities. At Option 1 Staffing, we prioritize your privacy and security. Please be aware that we will never ask job candidates to:
– Pay any fees to work or to receive payment from us.
– Make cash or check advances to us or any third party.
– Purchase any products, services, or gift cards.
– Provide sensitive financial information such as credit card numbers or banking PINs.
Option 1 Staffing will not request any government identification numbers, banking, or payment information through instant messaging services like WhatsApp, LINE, or Facebook Messenger. We do not send or ask for money through mobile payment apps or digital wallet platforms, such as GCash, Skrill, Shopify, or Google Pay, and we will never request payments via cryptocurrency. Additionally, Option 1 Staffing does not hire candidates for jobs in countries where we are not authorized to operate.
