Accounting Associate

Palo Alto, CA – Hybrid

6-month Contract

$28 – $33/hour

An Accounting Associate plays a pivotal role within the accounting and finance team, taking on essential responsibilities that directly support the company’s financial health and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for P-card and T-card administration as well as expense reimbursements
• Review, process, gather, and compile accounting transactions and documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
• Review transactions, support documents, journal postings, etc. for accuracy, consistency, authorizations, and compliance
• Process labor distribution adjustments
• Monitor transactions in accounting systems for clearing, and outstanding items
• Resolve transactional inquiries, escalate broader issues
• Respond to transactional inquiries from client groups
• Provide administrative support to the Department Finance Manager

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Accounting experience
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Experience with transaction verification and reimbursements
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong analytical skills
