Clinical Sourcing Specialist

3-month Contract – possible extension

Fremont, CA – Hybrid

$55.00 – 60.00/hour

Option 1 Staffing is currently recruiting for a Clinical Sourcing Specialist for a nationally recognized hospital in the country. As the Clinical Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating contract volume, supply chain information system performance, purchasing volume and flow, and value-based selection reporting and outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and evaluate contract volume, supply chain information system performance, purchasing volume and flow, and value-based selection reporting and outcomes
• Ensure policies are followed across the organization through education to hospital departments and coordination with Finance, Compliance, Office of General Counsel, and Risk Management
• Processes purchase requisitions to include electronic requisitions, department specific custom requisitions, and general purpose department requisitions
• Provide expertise in negotiating standard price-per-unit contracts
• Identify and implement strategies to realize cost reductions

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of directly related work experience
• Nursing Degree HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Deep understanding of different surgical procedures, equipment requirements, and specific supplies needed
