Newark, CA – On-site

$24 – $26/hour 

Option 1 Staffing is currently recruiting for a Patient Outreach Representative. Our top Healthcare Client in Newark, CA is looking to bring on a detail-oriented and driven individual. If you are interested in getting your foot in the door with a top 10 hospital in the country apply now!

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients
• Patient Registration
• Insurance verification
• Validating authorizations and creating estimates
• Update patient accounts with payer plan type and fill orders
• Provide excellent customer service
• Detail-oriented with excellent phone communication skills

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year experience with healthcare administration
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, Workers Comp, and Managed Care
• Bilingual is a plus
• Bachelors preferred
