Sr. Microsoft System Engineer

Option 1 is currently looking for a Sr. Microsoft System Engineer for a nationally recognized Healthcare organization here in the Bay Area. As the Sr. Microsoft System Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, configuration, and maintenance of Windows/Active Directory, managing Microsoft cloud infrastructure and applications, and performing gap analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Leads the design, configuration, and maintenance of Windows/Active Directory with environment-specific hypervisors
• Provides expertise in designing and architecting Azure, O365, and all other Microsoft cloud applications/features
• Manages Microsoft cloud infrastructure and applications
• Manages the Microsoft Intune environment which includes managing IOS, Android, MacOS, Windows, and other Intune-compatible devices which includes enrolling and troubleshooting.
• Manages Active Directory domain controllers
• Performs all duties of the Microsoft Systems Engineer
• Participates in business case development, project sizing, design, and implementation
• Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans
• Performs gap analysis to determine where current infrastructure does not meet client/organizational needs and propose appropriate improvements
• Works with end users to resolve ongoing issues
• Investigate and resolve complex technical problems
• Recognizes patterns in reported incidents, diagnoses underlying root causes, and devise timely and effective resolutions
• Works with stakeholders and other technical teams
• Creates and updates technical documentation of operating procedures as needed
• Ability to plan strategically both long-term and short-term
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 8+ years of directly related experience
• (MCSA) Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate – Windows Server Certification
• Knowledge of Azure AD, AD Connect, and Active Directory
