Option 1 Staffing is currently seeking a sharp Sr. Accounts payable candidate to join a team of 4 in Finance. You will be handling Expense reports, GAAP, issuing of P.O.’s monthly and month end reports experience is very important.

Duties and Responsibilities
Manages activities required to ensure quality output of payables and timely payment of invoices
Oversees procurement to pay process, which utilizes SAP Concur and Sage 100 C and Sage APA
Manages Accounts Payable vendors for completeness and accuracy across relevant accounting systems
Drives compliance with internal controls (e.g., proper segregation of duties, purchase order and invoice approvals) and IRS regulations for 1099 reporting
Builds strong relationships with customers, solves problems using traditional and creative methods, and meets resistance with tact, sensitivity, and professionalism
Provides day-to-day administrative and management to Accounts Payable.
Responsible for assigned aspects of monthly financial close / financial reporting
Establishes and manages the corporate credit card program and payroll process.
Identifies opportunities for process efficiencies through automation of monthly analysis
Maintains sales and use tax regulations for applicable jurisdictions
