Revenue Cycle Analyst

Remote – CANDIDATES MUST RESIDE IN CALIFORNIA

$35 – $48/hour

Option 1 Staffing is actively recruiting for a Revenue Cycle Analyst with a world-renowned, highly respected hospital. As the Revenue Cycle Analyst, you will perform a detailed analysis of financial and revenue cycle performances to identify trends, patterns, and root causes.

Although this position is remote – candidates must reside within California!

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor key performance indicators for assigned areas and explore reasons for performance fluctuation and deterioration.
  • Complete regular root cause analysis of relevant financial transactions for assigned departments.
  • Examine historical and projected financial data to provide stakeholders with valuable information upon which to make operational decisions.
  • Utilize a strong understanding of revenue cycle applications, operational workflows, and regulatory policies to assist in analytic evaluations.
  • Cultivate internal relationships to assist in understanding department workflows.
  • Engage regularly with revenue cycle managers and directors on improvement opportunities identified through data analysis.
  • Analyze, prepare, and coordinate distribution of various financial reports for internal Revenue Cycle use and as required for external constituents.
  • Maintain various financial databases and records for the reporting of financial data.
  • Develop and manipulate large data sets.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of directly related work experience
  • 1+ years of Hospital Billing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • HFMA – Certified Revenue Cycle Rep (CRCR) preferred
