Project Manager

6-month contract, possible extension

Redwood City, CA – On-site

$55 – $60/hour

Option 1 Staffing is actively seeking a proactive and organized Project Manager for a highly sought-after Bay Area employer. You will be responsible for the coordination and completion of all aspects of project management on assigned projects, including, project scope, project schedule, project budget, project plans, facilitating meetings, documenting requirements, overseeing development, operational workflows, and implementation. To be successful in this role, candidates should be detail-oriented, have good business acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Delivers concurrent various-sized projects to successful completion.
• Manage infrastructure projects in areas such as VoIP/telephony, networking (wired and wireless network and firewall), audio-visual, mobile networking, cabling, etc.
• Conduct project intake, develop project teams, define objectives and scope, document current and future-state processes, document risks and assumptions, and oversee development, operational workflows, and implementation.
• Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects. Oversees all aspects of projects. Tracks milestones and anticipates deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors and summarizes progress of projects, and more.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of directly related work experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• PMP Certification preferred
• Experience developing, implementing, managing, and monitoring project management frameworks and methodologies
