Option 1 Staffing is currently recruiting for a Category Manager in the Healthcare field. You will report to the Assistant Director of Category Management. The Category Manager is responsible for driving category specific contract coverage and compliance. Areas of responsibility managing a portfolio of contracts covering medical supplies, non-medical supplies, and purchased services with a focus on “best value” and Total Cost of Ownership.

TOP 3 SKILLS REQUIRED:

1.RFP and RFQ experience and working with vendors

2.Negotiation experience for both pricing and contract side

3.Analytics – understanding of excel and data analysis

  • Working with vendors for RFP’s and RFQ’s
  • Work closely with vendors for pricing, contract administration
  • Data Analysis
  • Excel

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in strategic sourcing.
