Duties and Experience

• Customer service skills
• Demonstrated success planning events
• Manage many tasks at the same time
• 3-4 years of Admin exp with events
• May perform human resources transactional support, e.g. time cards, I9s, and/or faculty affairs support
• High school diploma and three years of administrative experience, or combination of education and relevant experience
• Proficient computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications
• Demonstrated success in following through and completing routine tasks
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• This may include managing large-scale annual events such as the department’s commencement ceremony and the admitted PhD applicant visit
• It also includes organizing academic conferences, department social events and weekly workshops
